Approximately 60 kilometers from Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, a Nepali man has been taken into custody on charges of murdering his wife. This information was disclosed by the police on Monday.
Authorities reported that the woman's body was discovered on Sunday evening, showing significant signs of injury. The Nepali laborer, Ramesh Dangi, informed his employer, Hari Krishna Dhanta, that his wife, Deepika, was found unconscious with visible wounds on her body.
During initial questioning, Deepika's husband, Jeet Bahadur, admitted to having a heated argument with her on Saturday. In a fit of rage, he struck her with a stick, resulting in her death. The police have registered a murder case against Jeet Bahadur under Section 103(1) of the Indian Penal Code.
